Honeyville is a small farming community located in northern Utah near the Idaho border. It was established in 1863 by Mormon settlers. Most of the original settlers were farmers who raised sugar beets, potatoes, cattle, horses and sheep. There are still farmers in the community today but the majority of the population is now made up of many other professions. Many enjoy working outside the area but still living in a smaller community like Honeyville. Even as the city continues to grow, it still maintains the small town feel and closeness with neighbors. Many residents move to Honeyville to enjoy country life mainly, having horses and other farm animals. They enjoy getting together for the 4th of July and Trunk or Treat each year and having a good time together. Honeyville is a small city that still enjoys the country life.
